Perhaps I had a wicked childhood...
I need a little help.
I want to feel cheery, but my resources are falling a bit short.
So if any of you have any good news,
however inconsequential--
any happy stories or goofy jokes to share--
please post them in the comments, at your leisure.
Julie and I thank you for you support.

Little sprogs grow up to be four year olds who love their Mamas fiercely. The other day, N was trying to convince me that he should be included in C's cuddle (I tend to keep them separate to prevent cuddles from turning into wrestling matches.) When I suggested N get back into bed, he said "But I'm not cold for my blanket, I'm cold for you!"

The day will come when the Sprog will tell you he loves you for the first time. He will draw you pictures and tell you jokes and hug and kiss you. He will ask you to read the same book so many times that you will have it memorized and the sound of his laugh will be the best thing you have ever heard in your life. Wait for it.

Just go look at the last picture in your favorite things post. That should make you smile!

Save this one for when the sprog gets older and has read or watched Peter Pan....
Q: What do you call a fairy who won't take a bath?
A: Stinkerbell
And, my 10-year-old's favorite joke:
Q: How do signs talk?
A: In sign language
I'm here all week!
